Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Olai Money Tracker ("Olai"), an expense tracker made by Gravitide ("we"). By using Olai you agree to them. Effective 30 September 2026.
In short
- Olai is a notebook for your own spending. It doesn't give financial advice and doesn't move money.
- Your entries are yours. How we handle them is in the privacy policy.
- Olai is provided as it is. Keep your own records of anything important.
What Olai does
Olai lets you record expenses and income, group them in books and categories, and see summaries. It only knows what you type in. It doesn't connect to banks, make payments or convert currencies, and nothing in it is financial, tax or legal advice.
Your account
You can use Olai without an account; your entries then stay on your phone only. If you sign in with Google, your entries are backed up and synced to your other phones. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time (see how to delete your account).
Your data
You own the entries you create. We store and process them only to run Olai for you, as described in the privacy policy. Entries saved without signing in are not backed up anywhere: if you lose or reset your phone, or uninstall Olai, they are gone.
Fair use
Don't misuse Olai: don't try to reach other people's data, disrupt or overload our servers, or reverse engineer the service to attack it. We may suspend an account that does this.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Olai, so features may change. We may also stop offering sync or Olai itself; if we do, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can keep what you need. We don't promise that Olai will always be available or free of errors.
No warranty
Olai is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Check your totals against your bank statements or receipts before relying on them for anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or money, arising from your use of Olai. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we update this page and its effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Olai after that, the new terms apply.
